Thailand women Kanchana Ketkaew is a world record holder for sleeping with 3400 scorpions for 32 days in 2002. This Thailand chick had once again broke her own record by sleeping with 5000 scorpions in Jan 2009. The nearest person trying to pull off the same stunt is a woman from Malaysia who had slept with 2700 scorpions.
Kanchana’s husband Bunthawee Sengwong is another world record holder, having the similar appetite, he had slept with 1000 centipedes for 28 days.
Kanchana first met her husband when they were both performing their stunts at a snake farm. Soon they felt in love when they were touring together, according to Somporn Naksuetrong, general manager of Ripley's World of Entertainment, in Pattaya.
The pair got married on the 14th Feb 2006, however, instead of following Thai tradition and heading to a "wedding room" after exchanging vows, the pair climbs into a coffin.
Kanchana Ketkaew, 40 now, was at least stung 9 times for setting her record in 2002 and been stung another 13 times during the 2009 tour. Her body had developed an immune system against scorpion venom throughout the years.
OMG, damn it, love has got no boundaries and determination knows no limit. I am already crying like a pussy when I saw a baby scorpion.
