A NAKED African woman caused a stir at a junction near Taman Cheras on Monday, reported Harian Metro.
Mohd Ghani Mohd Ismail, 29, who witnessed the incident, said he was shocked to see the naked woman who was jumping and shouting by the roadside on the Middle Ring Road 2 at around 12.30pm.
Policemen tried reasoning and ordered her to put her clothes back on but to no avail.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, acted like she was possessed and shouted in a foreign language before she “fainted”.
A few minutes later, she got up and streaked around the area before another woman, who was a customer at the restaurant, convinced her to dress up.
After the drama, the woman is believed to been taken in a police patrol car to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for a medical check-up.
The daily also reported that a massive gridlock at the KL-Karak Highway forced travellers to refuel and spend the night at the Genting Sempah rest area.
The journey from Plaza Tol Karak, Pahang to the Genting Sempah rest area that usually takes 30 minutes instead took nearly six hours.
traffic jam worsened at around 8pm when hundreds of cars that were stuck in the gridlock started running low on gas and headed to the nearby rest area to refuel.
Many other drivers became stranded when their cars broke down due to overheating in the middle of the road.
